Dr. Tammy L. Hodo is the President of All Things Diverse LLC, an educational consulting company working with organizations to optimize employee productivity thought recognizing the value of diversity, equity and inclusion. Tammy earned her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Urban Studies, with a minor in Sociology in which she specializations in Race, Class, Gender, and Ethnicity. She has worked in academia for over ten years in a variety of positions, to include faculty and university administrator. Her most recent Administrator role was the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for a law school where she was responsible for policy development and overall institutional compliance for students, faculty, and staff related to discrimination and harassment.  Tammy just completed a 12 month Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology position at the University of North Florida (UNF), where she taught courses on racial and ethnic minorities, urban sociology and sociological theory.  Tammy has provided training to local and national organizations all under the umbrella of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Dr. Hodo has written course content om Implicit Biases and Microaggressions for a national educational vendor that is being used at hundreds of colleges and universities. She has published articles about the experiences of minorities in academia, urban areas and how to research minority families.  Her parents married in 1962, which is typically not an issue, but her parents didn’t match (color wise).  Her interracial parents married before the passing of Loving V. Virginia (1967).  Her perspective on diversity, equity and inclusion is unique because she is biracial and was reared in a predominantly white neighborhood in Milwaukee, WI.  Tammy is a veteran of the U.S. Navy but married an Army man and moved over ten times in a twenty-year period.
